A staple herb used in Indonesian and South East Asian cuisines, used in most South East Asian stir fry. It can’t be substituted with ginger.  Sample of the usage of galangal in some foods, ie Indonesian Javanese food, ie Soto Ayam, Singaporean Laksa, Thai Tom Yum soup.

Please be noted in the event this South East Asian produce is not in season or scarce, we will freeze the fresh produce. Use the frozen produce directly, do not thaw. If the recipe required it to be sliced, cut them half frozen.
